The journey

Timeless Trio 2026 brought together travellers with a deep interest in art. Instead of simply adding museums to a standard itinerary, we allowed art to shape the entire journey — from what we saw and created to the neighbourhoods we explored and the stories we uncovered.

Where art meets antiquity

Rome

In Rome, art appeared within layers of religion, empire and everyday life. We explored the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, viewed masterpieces at the Galleria Borghese and walked through the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

The experience continued beyond the monuments — with Campo de' Fiori, Roman piazzas, Frascati's vineyards and a hands-on pizza and cocktail-making evening.

Art as memory and expression

Berlin

Berlin revealed a completely different creative language. Guided walks through its Nazi, Cold War and Jewish history gave context to the city before we encountered its contemporary culture.

The East Side Gallery and a street-art exploration showed how public spaces became canvases for identity and protest. A techno-painting workshop allowed the group to respond creatively to Berlin's distinctive energy.

The journey also included a performance at the Berliner Philharmonie, neighbourhood markets, riverside cafés and time to experience the city's pub and nightlife culture.

Art beyond the museum walls

Paris

Paris brought art into gardens, streets, studios and shared experiences. We painted in the Luxembourg Gardens, explored the Louvre with an art historian and followed the city's artistic legacy through Montmartre.

There was time to browse stationery stores, sketch at Place des Vosges and encounter music in an unexpected setting. The journey culminated in Giverny, where Monet's home and gardens revealed the landscapes behind his paintings.

Paris was also experienced through café breakfasts, wine and cheese, a Seine cruise, Le Marais, a cabaret evening and unhurried walks through the city.

Beyond art

Art provided the thread, but it was never the entire story. The journey also moved through ancient history, Cold War memory, food traditions, local markets, vineyards, music, nightlife and neighbourhood life.

These experiences allowed us to understand not only what each city had created, but also the culture and history from which that creativity emerged.

Designed around the travellers

Because this group included artists, the itinerary made room for more than looking. There were opportunities to paint, sketch, explore art stores, learn from experts and experience the surroundings that inspired generations of artists.

The pace also allowed for choice — whether that meant spending longer with an artwork, relaxing at a café, joining an evening out or simply observing a city in one's own way.

“The workshops and local interactions made Rome, Berlin and Paris feel lived-in, not merely visited. I came home with stories, not just photographs.”

This was not a checklist of three European capitals. It was one continuous journey through three very different creative worlds.

Future Timeless Trio journeys may not follow this exact itinerary — and that is the point. Each journey is shaped around the interests, energy and curiosities of the people travelling with us.
